You can take all those items including screw drivers and even a knife if
you check your luggage. I know that can be a pain, but it may be worth it in
this case.

Hi guys. Taking a cross country car trip soon - CA to FL - and was wondering
what I might be able to carry on the plane with me on the way to CA. I know
sharp pointy things like screwdrivers would be out, but what about wrenches,
sockets, wirestrippers, sidecut pliers, etc? Anybody done this recently?
TIA, Ron.
