Just look at the Audi TDI diesels running at LeMans . . . looks like fun to me. Modern diesels are a long way from those of even 10 years ago. Rode in alot of diesel taxis in Italy just 6 months ago. Quiet, powerful, reliable, cheap to operate.
<<Diesels, on the other hand, CAN be a LOT of fun, especially when they turn over 6K, have over 800 cubic inches of displacement, and run upwards of 150 psi, gauge, of boost pressure -- the way the big-time tractor pull guys do it !!!
