The oddity here is it's only the temp guage and it's on "that" side of the car where the valve is. That said, if that's the side the core is making noises on, truth is stranger than fiction. I suppose the good side is, if I'm going in there, I'll do a new core, valve and see if I can find a shop in SF that will actually rebuilt the blower motor. I WAS on the drive, Kathleen Cannon went along with me as passenger so I drove a lot more slowly than normali for the Berlina Veloce. We were in Tomales at noon and she had people she was meeting back at Poggio's for lunch, so we came back via Lucas Valley Road. It was a wonderful drive, but I didn't take my usual high volume of pictures.
