this reminds me of that tale of when ford was in the process of becoming a
working partner with cosworth.the ford enginers watched the mechanics working
on the engines and wanted to know what torque settings for the diffrent
applications.the guys took a torque wrentch and wrote down as they worked by
there feeling as they always did.i'm really not being facitious and please
don't take it the wrong way when i say tighten the bolts enogh so they don't
loosen while driving.

I've got it jotted down here as 60 - 70 lbs./ft. ( that's 81.35 -
94.91 N-m for those of you living in our ( the USA's ) future....

Don't know the source. But 2 things are very plain - they don't (
well, haven't, yet ) fall off and they do not require air compressors
to remove them.

Oh, and 3, that force, hasn't cracked the Campy's yet either...
