It's not the DeDion. That's merely the suspension.
The problem is with the relative location of the transaxle. Remember that
the transaxle is floor mounted and does not move with the suspension. The 4
and 6cyl Alfettas all have almost identical componentry, and almost
identical problems.

i must get that book but off hand i would say the didion setup as is causes
the trouble.as we see it is the same problem with the four or six.i
suppose a
diffrent rear setup instead of that triangle may be the answer.
