Andrew:
What kind of measuring device do folks use for measuring the bore of liners?
A big part depends on how much you want to spend. If you want to go with the least expensive solution, a set of snap gauges and a digital caliper provide about as much accuracy as you need, and will cost you, probably, less than 75 bucks. If you want to get more accurate, you can get a nice, inside dial indicator set. FAR more expensive while only slightly more accurate. With the snap gauge/caliper kit, you can measure ovality and taper, and the accuracy pretty much depends on how careful you are in making the measurements.
