Someone out there must have one! And if so, is there a standard item that works, or is this a major reengineering-the-back-half sort of thing? I would love to build one of those little teardrop campin' trailers so I could use Rico as my twice-yearly E Clampus Vitus "Clampwagon"; I can sleep in the Subaru okay, but it lacks both soul and panache. Since I do too, I obviously need to get some somewhere, and the Milano's got plenty. I've already pretty much drawn the trailer. Now I just need to know if Rico can draw it too... Punning aside, I see in my old Milano Press advertising brochure, a compendium of magazine road tests, the SCCA magazine listed maximum trailer-tongue weight and pulling weight, and I have to assume those figures came from somewhere other than someone's imagination. FWIW, the device I'm contemplating would be considerably lighter than the maximum allowable.
