Hello, all.

I'm letting go of the idea of restoring my Milano and would like to
offer it first to readers of the digest. ( I hope this is OK I
reviewed the forum guidelines and didn't see a prohibition against such
postings.)

I took the car off the road in late 2007, when it failed inspection due
to a rusted rear arch. I bought it from the original owner in
Connecticut in 1997 and drove it daily. (Weekly, on back roads, before
turning in the plates.) It's now carported just west of Boston.

The car is Mediterranean blue w/ velour interior; 178K miles. Complete
service records. Maintained since 100K at Glynn Enterprises, who in
addition to routine servicing replaced the steering rack, rebuilt the
driveshaft, replaced tie rod ends, wheel bearings, etc, before the shop
closed. Windshield, power steering pump, and battery were subsequently
also replaced.

Everything on the car worked all electricals, A/C, AM/FM/cassette,
etc. before it failed inspection.

Over the winter the hood latch has stopped working, the battery died,
and a linkage on the clutch let go.
I'd like to get something for the car the headlight assemblies and
windshield alone could make someone very happy but equally important
is that the car goes to the right place with a minimum of hassle.
