Subject: [alfa] Seat Not Locking
Bob,
If you haven't looked at your seat rails recently, these things get pretty
well gummed up with hardened gease, old Big Mac residue, etc and the
adjustment catch stops catching. Maybe a small spray of WD-40 could be a
quick alternative to removing everything, cleaning, and re-greasing.

Just recently the driver's side seat is not locking properly. When you
push it all the way to hit the last catch on the seat slide, it seems to
lock but there is 1/2" to an 1" of play when it seems to go into a locked
position.
What's the best way to fix this problem? Is it sliding past the last
catch on the seat slide?
I have no problem with the passenger side. It slides all the way back and
locks.
