I have never heard of these switches causing problems.  That you have more
than one burn out strongly implies it is not the switch.  It is one of the
items the switch is controlling.  One is drawing excessive current.  You
will need an amp meter and a wiring diagram.  Check the draw on each item
and you will probably fine one that is drawing much more than the others.
That bulb is probably shorting out.
