Re 1995 Alfa 164 sudden stop running My 1992 164 had this problem and it was in the circut that energizes the fuel pump, there is a relay that is under a cover up by the radiator that is controled by the ECU that turns on the fuel pump. If you do not get fuel this could be the cause, I am not sure if the crank sensor controls fuel supply but car will not run if it is bad this I do know. I hope this helps. Rich Nelson
