I'm just tired of Fiat creating these wonderful Alfa show cars and then either not building them at all, or building something with the same name as the show car, but which doesn't resemble it in the least. Then, of course, there's Fiat's constant promise to bring Alfa back to the US market, and then perpetually pushing the date out. They've done this over and over and over again.

George, chill out. Let us dream.

As for tradition, besides the Alfa lines, this car is more in the lineage of the Runabout,X1/9,Stratos,Montecarlo(Scorpian). Maybe it should be a Lancia
instead.

The question is this. When (and more importantly IF - something that
I'll believe when I see it) the 4C does go into production, how much
like the show car will it be? Fiat/Alfa has a history of building/
commissioning incredible show cars and then watering them down in
production so that they only superficially resemble the original
(remember the Brera?). Looking at the interior, of the 4C, you can
pretty much count that out. I also wouldn't be surprised if, on it's
way to the factory, the car became a FWD based on some Fiat saloon
platform - again. Face it the Alfa we love is no more and as long as
Fiat owns the brand, it's likely to stay that way.
