Dumb question, but have you verified that the throttle linkages are all free
and clear, and lubed? If it's hanging up on something, it could exhibit the
symptoms you're observing. Are the butterfly's operating freely?

liter runs very well when cold, starts fine in the morning. When warm it
stumbles at exactly 3000 rpm when going through the gears. This stumble can
be stopped with more application of the throttle pedal. The car seems to run
rich and is hard to start when warm. I have rechecked everything I know to
confirm, injection timing, cam and ignition timing. I have also performed all
the set-up procedures in Ingrams book and read everything in the Owners Club
Technical Series on the pump. Has anyone encountered anything like this?
Would air getting into the fuel line cause such a stumble? Has anyone ever
heard of a Spica pump governor oscillating? The problem seems to be related
to throttle position and is recurrent at precisely the same rpm. Something is
wrong and I don't know what it is. The pump is a newly-provided Ingram unit.
