Not sure if I am in the "love - Palo
Alto Speedometer" boat. I agree with 
everyone who says they are happy to pay
for quality, but:
My first job with PAS was to refresh a Veglia clock, it
looks great, but quit 
keeping accurate time after 3 months, where it was
great for ~16 years including 
recovering after sitting w/o battery power
during suspension or engine repairs. 
When I had guages refreshed for an
Italian bike, the bezels were mis-matched and 
the "lasts much longer than
stock" flourescent orange on the dial poinetrs faded 
as fast as stock. YMMV.
