Carl,
    Do you still have the SPICA on that '73 GTV or have you converted to
carbs?
    If SPICA, the problem is probably the micro switch that controls the fuel
shut off solenoid.

My exhaust system is all stock and I've located a long crack in the front
resonator (on the weld where the pipe enters the resonator at the front) and
a smaller on on the middle muffler (same location as the resonator) on my

'73 GTV. Lots of backfiring from the resonator on deceleration is the main
problem and I'm sure that the cracks will not heal themselves...where are
our Alfa repair nano-bots ?!
