I am planning to transport my car from Algonquin, IL to South Carolina but the car will only be available for pickup during a 5 day window over 4th of July weekend (7/1-7/5). I contacted a few transport companies and tried to avoid brokers. Horseless Carriage will not guarantee a pickup date - they only provide a Monday-Sunday window. DAS will guarantee a pickup date but only by delivering to a local terminal where it will sit outside waiting for who knows how many transfers until delivery.
