Are you using a stock mechanical 105 pump or an electric pump? I assume
it's an electric pump if noise is a problem.

Maybe you could attempt to insulate the mounting system to reduce vibrations
from pump to chassis, and insulate the pump itself. Either wrap the pump or
fabricate an insulated cover?

If it's in the tank, insulate the tank better on its mounts, and use some
type of sound insulating underfelt over the tank.

Subject: [alfa] Fuel pump

Amici,

I'm having fuel pump issues.

The reliable ones are too noisy for my liking.

The quiet ones break down after a few months or even weeks.

What to do?
