Skip - Thanks for the suggestion. Unless I am missing something, though, I don't see how Rivnuts can bridge the rectangular gap where the captive nuts go on a GTV6. Short of welding new metal in place, is there a product that would work. Failing that, does anyone have some original captive nuts from a GTV6 door? Of course, These would need to have the metal tabs intact.

Just Google it and you will find more info than you ever want. Probably most hardware stores will have them and I know Harbor Freight does. Skip Patnode '67 Duetto Norfolk, Va. I have need of three of them. Thanks in advance, Ben -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
