You have all basically confirmed my thought that 1/1000 of an inch will not
make that big a difference on the exhaust valves. This is good news in that I
don't have a big shim kit lying around.

I am amazed at how well made these cams must be! I when I put on these
replacements after removing the FI type cams, I expected a great deal of
variation but there is virtually none. Especially amazed as the 70s were a
really bad time for car making for every company.

Now I can move on to the rest of the projects...two synchros, transmission
seals, diff pinion seal, transmission mount, springs and shocks for the rear,
completion of the carb conversion, and many others. I hope to have the car on
the road this spring.
