I think I've been on the list for about 10 years but I mostly just read since my car is pretty well sorted. I've owned my '79 Sprint Veloce since 1989. I used to do my own work (documented on my blog<http://www.lesliewong.us/blog/category/alfa-romeo/>) but now I've moved into an apartment. I just had the rear wheel bearings and cv boots replaced; the broken Spica arm brazed and fuel injection adjusted for $1800 at Roger's in Oakland, CA. The cost of shop labor didn't seem unreasonable but I after doing my own work for years it was still kind of shocking.
