Stefano:
On my 74 GTV, when I turn the headlight switch to the 1st
position, my tail lights and running lights come on. When
I turn it to the 2nd position, the head lights come on, but
the tail lights and running lights turn off. Same in both Hi
beam and Lo beam.
If the tail and running lights come on, then there is power at the switch
and continuity after the switch. So I would focus my attention on the
switch itself. On my GTV6, if I remember correctly, there are separate
contacts inside of the switch for the different light circuits. The lever
has a set of cams on it which rotate into position and close the contacts as
you rotate the lever. Perhaps one of the cams is worn and barely closing
the contacts. I'd disassemble the switch and see if everything looks okay
in there.
