Cats: Thanks for all the replies to my tail light wiring problems. I will take a closer look at the switch one day, but am not able to take it apart anytime soon. It's my daily driver at the moment.
But take a look at these images. Years ago, I bought this switch on eBay or somewhere thinking it would work on my car, but it appears to be from a later model, maybe 90s Spider. Does anyone know if it will physically fit on my GTV steering column? And can anyone identify what year it comes from? Most wires match up to mine in the wiring diagrams but there are some extra wires I will need to look up on a diagram of the correct year.
