Harry,

All my Nord engines had a rubber seal inside the cap, usually rock hard due
to age. Try replacing this for a better seal. However things may be
different on Spica cars.

Your engine may also be pressurising the sump so ensure any exhaust gas
recirc components aren't blocked.

Cheers

Subject: [alfa] Oil cap leaking

I have a 1987 spider with an oil leak out of the oil cap. I have bent the
tabs
on the cap to tighten it. This effort slowed it down , but if I bend the
tabs
anymore, the cap will not turn. Does anyone know where to get a new seal, or
have any ides how to correct this condition.
Thanks
Harry
