I used Lucas injector cleaner when I brought my GTV6 out of long term
hibernation. The gas in the tank was almost jelly-like. After I cleaned
the tank out I added the injector cleaner to the fresh fuel. It started
on a few cylinders (maybe three) but after a few days of driving around
a bit everything cleared out and it ran on all six. I cannot say the
injector cleaner fixed it or whether it was just having fresh fuel and
exercise that did it. No harm in trying, though.
