Sorry Jeff, but I'm afraid you're wrong on this one. Lucas Oil has nothing
whatsoever to do with the hoary and familiar Prince of Darkness, Lucas
Industries. Lucas Oil was founded in the U.S. in 1989 by a fellow named
Forrest Lucas and his wife. Apparently he's quite the entrepreneur and a
racer, to boot. His company was/is successful enough to pay for the naming
rights to the site of the (very) recent Superbowl, Lucas Oil Stadium in
Indianapolis. They never had anything to do with self-destructing light
switches or the like. I have no financial interest or opinions on their
products.

Best,
Bob A.

these large concerns have become conglomerates, made up of completely
diffrent
facilities.one having nothing to do with the other except on the bean
counters
sheets.lucas in the somewhat distant past was an automotive electrical
manufacturer.it those days it competed with bosch.in them there days it
earned
itself the name of the prince of darkness due to the reliability factor.
