Hi ! thanks for the responses, i was hoping some chemist out there could say :
- Lucas fuel injector cleaner is $0.15 of acetone sold for $5.75' or - it's made of ______ which is more effective than the lubricitave additives already in modern gasoline or - don't use it in pre 1992 engines because it will slowly dissolve old rubber but unfortunately i can find absolutely no real information about any of their products, their website has nothing except hyperbole & vague testimonials. it seems like the old 'STP' 30 years ago, you were supposed to put it in gas/oil & get better running, more power, better milage, longer engine life etc., all BS. i occasionally pass the stadium in Indy they bought the name of, though it was 99.999% paid for with tax $$s, always think huge sign should say 'Snake Oil Stadium'. jak don't have the $s or time to set up a double blind experiment with 2 cars. -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
