This reminds me of a story of a Texan who visited Australia. While he was being squired around, his refrain to his host was "that's big, but we have bigger ones in Texas". Finally he saw a kangaroo and was quiet. His host asked "What do you think?" The Texan said "well your grass hoppers are sure bigger than ours!" I met an Australian lady last night who reminded me Sunday is ANZAC Day, I'll be wearing my ANZAC hat! Stevan Thomas In a message dated 4/26/2012 10:19:39 P.M. If a filter filters to say 10 microns, then it filters to 10 microns. Modern microns are the same size as old microns..... although I hear Texas microns a bit larger. ;-) The mounting design of the filter 'case' has bugger-all to do with the filtration medium so a quality brand filter, regardless of physical mounting system, is the important thing.
