easiest way to check - first step is to measure mounting bolt spacing,
center to center. newer calipers require 3.5". bolts are M12 x 1.5mm
as to issues of offset and rotor OD, not sure. will take more
measurements to see.
i do know that the early ATE caliper spindles will not accept the later
ATE calipers. those only have 3" bolt space.
simplest thing to do, and not expensive, would be to swap in spindles
from later cars. they'll will bolt up fine and then brakes - rotors,
calipers all will fit perfectly. no sourcing problems for any of those
parts.
original master cylinder will be big enough to drive them. whether to
go to dual circuit or not is your call.
good luck

p.s. re attaching 2.0 lsd rear end to 1600 drive shaft - the diff input
flange (and 2.0L tail shaft) are set up for M9 bolts. the 1600 DS uses M8s.
will have to open up the flange on end of the 1600 shaft.
