Cats:

A trim piece on my GTV seems to have come loose or was never properly
inserted
during the last paint session. It is a vertical stainless piece that
secures to the rear
of the door opening. It seems to tuck under the horizontal stainless carpet
hold
down at the bottom of the door opening, but is now outside of that piece.

I thought that removing the 5 screws holding the horizontal piece down
would be
all that is needed to lift and tuck the other one under. Well, even with
the 5 screws
removed, the horizontal piece does not budge. The lip on one side - nearest
the door
rubber - seems tight. New rubber went in place a few years ago, so this is
not a
case of 40 year old stuckness.

I just don't want to bend the stainless piece so I'm asking what is the
method to
raise or remove the horizontal carpet hold down piece that runs the length
of the
door.

Here are a couple of shots of the piece that has come loose. I have the
missing
screw for that, and I don't really see a hole for it, so it may not have
been put in
correctly at the time of the paint and rubber work.
