Hey Guys,

It's time to sell my 86 Spider Graduate. I'm looking for a buyer, or some
collective info on what I should try to get for it.

I'd appreciate any help you can offer. I've owned it for about 15 years and
have loved it. I realize that at 6'2, and 200lbs, I'm just not comfortable
in it. I was going to turn it into a track car, but don't have the money or
time to take on a new project. It's a shame to see it go, but it's been
sitting for a year now.

86 Grad with 115K on the chassis

Motor has less miles, and is a Motronic era Lower end with the higher
compression pistons, and a valve job about 10K ago.

Runs strong, starts every time with a good battery, although it's recently
developed a intermittent starting issue, don't know if it's the starter or
the ignition switch

Compression check coming soon

Transmission was rebuilt by Larry Jr. and shifts very smooth

4:10 rear end out of a 74, don't know the history.

Lowered all the way around on Shankle springs and sway bars.

Koni Reds

15" Panasports with aging Yoko AVSI's (remember those?)

Roll bar and Pan guard

Burns a little oil

New AC Compressor that's never been charged

Visually, the whole thing's a little rough.

Interior needs some attention, but all functions.

Top is used but was recently re-stitched with a new back window

Exterior has a couple of dents. The front clip was repainted after someone
hit it in the nose, and then someone else hit the front Drivers Quarter
panel. The back half is straight, but fades almost right away after
polishing.

I'd like to think it's worth $3K-$4K, but $2-3K is probably more like it. If
it gets too far below $2K, I'll probably part it out.

Make me a good offer, and you can have all the spares in the attic (starter,
radiator, oil pan, seats out of a 90 that need to be recovered, and more)

Car is located in San Leandro Ca., just south of Oakland.

I feel like I'm writing a novel of my Alfa life rather than an ad :-)

Pics available to interested parties

Thanks,

Don Coulter
