No Bruce,
You stick with the SPICA. I can't afford to drive to Raleigh every other
week to re-tune Webers for you ;-) Actually, a good running SPICA car will
out perform the Webers. The drawback with the SPICA is the initial cost of
making it right and the skill required to set it up when you install it. Once
it is right, it is great!!
The main tip I have is don't let the lines twist when your remove them and
make sure all the support clamps are back in place when you get done. I
understand the lines are ceramic coated on the inside so if you twist or bend
one and break the ceramic you are in deep doo-doo.
Remember the .019" gap and idle is set with the throttles completely
closed.
Holler if you want my help.

Subject: [alfa] SPICA removal
I'm getting ready to remove my SPICA pump and replace it with an Ingram
rebuild. I have his book, and it looks like a fairly straight forward
procedure, but was wondering if anyone had extra hints or tips. I also had Wes
rebuild/clean the injectors. I'd ask Skip P., but he would probably say that I
should have had Webers.
