[alfa] Milano power steering rack replacement

i need to replace the rack in the 89 Milano. the cost of a rebuilt rack 
is pretty reasonable,
but the shop manual has all of 4 pages on the rack, and none have to do 
with removal
and installation. are there any tricks to this? i've removed and 
reinstalled non-power racks
in Alfettas before, but there was no engine in the car a the time. what 
are the issues i  might
encounter.
