It sounds as though (it'll be a pain) you need to disconnect each one of those
items 'til it stops, but what do you mean "8 volt drain"?--Amperes?--volts
don't drain.
If all the disconnections don't do it, you have to discover
which wire has a defect in either its connectors or its insulation. You're in
for a lot of pain!
