Skip, just to be clear, I assume they pulled the engine/tranny combo out rearwards, parallel to the ground? i.e. from underneath the car.

In fact, he said they just put the rear of the car on a lift, picked it up, pulled the engine and then let it back down. If you pull engine, transmission and the front half of the drive shaft as a unit it makes it a lot easier than disassembling everything in the car.
