I was at an Alfa specialist's garage yesterday and right next to it is a car wrecker (dismantler). If you want I can try and get one for you or try for a new one. If you have the chassis number it would help with a new one.
You are a gentleman. Thanks so much for offering, but I don't want to waste your time. I think I'll just substitute an off-the-shelf unit from someone local. If you really have nothing better to do, the engine is the Mitsubishi 4G15. That should be sufficient identification. There are no variants.
