The solenoid on my 1974 Spider starter sticks and abandons me when
hot---(very frustrating to sit in a parking lot waiting and hoping that sooner
or later I can get out of there)--- Banging on it with a metal rod often
loosens it up.
Where would I find a reliable replacement? Or is there a fix?
(other than getting a push-start)
Cordially,
Alan Lambert
