Thanks to all who replied with hints to get my shrunken top to go up...with
a day in the sun and the help of a younger neighbor, we finally got it
latched..next comes my suggestion for getting it to the point where one
person can do it...I put several wet towels and 2x4s transversally between
the bows and then put about 125# of weight on the 2x4s..sprinkled with hot
water daily and put a small electric heater inside and turned it on for one
hour each day..covered the vinyl seats well and checked that the cabin temp
only got to 130 degrees..now it is still tight, but I can manage to erect it
by myself..now if I could only solve my other erection problem...
