John and all, Have you checked the Bosch sensors in the bell housing? I have seen a lot more of them fail than I have fuel pumps. But usually everything is fine until you shut the car off, then it won't start again. Lift the washer bottle out of the way, pull the connectors one at a time, check them and then reconnect them. I say "One at a time" because it is really easy to get them connected wrong. Both sensors are identical but have different jobs. A good one should read about 1,000 ohms between two pins and open circuit between the others. They are standard Bosch sensors PN 0 261 210 001 and should be available at local parts stores cheaper and more readily available than Alfa stores. Second tip: That plastic fuse holder on the package shelf behind the passenger seat. Disconnect the wires (which use spade connectors) from each end and place it in your trivia box. Go to the parts house and get a late model spade type plug in fuse of the same value. Plug those disconnected wires onto the spades, wrap a little electrical tape around it and be trouble free forever. Skip Patnode '67 Duetto Norfolk, Va
