Afraid therebs a bit more. You need to remove the motor/blower completely
from the housing to get all the leaves out. See here under bHeater and
Ventilation Tipsb -> bSquealing Heater Fan"

Some additional suggestions follow:

-When you remove the motor, you will very likely find one or more of the
plastic bwingsb on the motor support (where the motor is held with a hose
clamp) are cracked. Donbt panic: the plastic is ABS and is easy to repair
with the proper adhesive
-Remove the resistor block from the heater housing before rooting around in
there so you donbt damage it
-Once you get the motor out, use a plastic fork to reach way up in the heater
box beyond where you can reach. Youbll probably find a lot of crap up
there.
-Note the bit about aligning the motor during reassembly so the fan doesnbt
rub. Check this before you button everything up

Once youbre done, get some coarse aluminum screen and fashion a cover for
the cowl intake so you never have to do this again.
