That happens on my system when using less:
ESC[1mESC[37m===========================ESC[0m
ESC[1m
Usage: ./clfs ESC[1m[OPTION]
Options:
ESC[1m -h, --helpESC[0m
print this help, then exit
Plus, when you quit from less the help is removed from the screen, but with
more no, then you can use Shift+RePag to review the help and to copy&paste
the options/values in the command line.
