I'll try to improve it, but that is not so easy, due to the book layout.

For now, you should be able to find the
package-version listing in $JHALFSDIR/pkg_tarball_list.

If you have ticked "retrieve source files" in "general settings", there
is also a file $LFS/sources/urls.lst, which contains all download locations
and md5sums (from chapter 3).
