Dilmi, you're bug said that NM doesn't support PPPoE. I've pointed out that the feature exists which why this bug should be marked Invalid.
If you can't make successfully create a DSL connection with Network Manager, then you should create a new bug which gives us the details of what you tried. Without such details, we can't begin to solve your problem(s). A good place to start would be to create start from scratch and try to create a DSL connection via the Edit Connections 'DSL' tab. If you try this and it still doesn't work, then connect back to the 'Net via Wi-Fi or Ethernet if possible, and report a new bug using the command ( from a Terminal, or Alt-F2: Run Application ): ubuntu-bug network-manager This will collect a bunch of debug information from your machine and bring you to Launchpad where you can file a new bug. When you do so, please add a details description of each step you took to configure your DLS connection. Eg. 1. Launched "Edit Connections" 2. Clicked "DSL" tab 3. Clicked "Add" button 4. etc... If it doesn't work for you, then you need to file a bug with the details -- Network-Manager doesn't support pppoe connections https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394218 You received this bug notification because you are a member of الفريق العربي لترجمة البرامج العلمية, which is a direct subscriber.
