Windows 7 netbook (starter edition) users have started looking to linux distros because W7 Starter well... It seems a lot like Vista and you can't do anything. Microsoft seems to be trying to be trying to kill the netbook area that they have W7 on. Looks like the reputation is going down for Windows 7 and since XP makes the netbooks go slow, we should focus on keeping the netbook edition lightweight and easy to use. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 and this is by far, more stable and secure than Windows. Even Alpha 2 was more stable than Windows.
