I've never programmed in a functional language before, but can easily work my way around in languages like Java/C++. I need to develop an application in Alice ML as part of a school project, and I can't find any good resources on how to get started learning the language. What I found turned out to be all but useless to me, since I suppose it assumes a working knowledge of like languages already.
Can anyone help me find a tutorial or something on how to get started with Alice ML? Or even another variation of ML? I'd be nice to find one that assumes I know nothing about nothing.
