Hi Guide

I have succeeded to build alice on a 32-bit machine on ubuntu a long
time ago.

Now i am trying on Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit version as well.
No success. I had the same error-message as Thomas when compiling seam.

Next i tried to build from CVS as described in the wiki.
http://www.ps.uni-sb.de/alice/wiki/index.cgi/HowToBuildForSEAM

"make setup" was succesful as far as i can tell.
"make all" terminates immedeatly with:
Non-supported OS: x86_64 linux 2.6.24-19-generic

Now i wonder if it is worth trying to fix this.
Is there a chance to get this sorted out or is this hopeless anyway?

Regards,

Max
