Since there hasn't been much activity here lately, I just wanted to throw in the following update-related questions:
1) Is there any release date for Alice 1.5? If so, when, and what changes, if any, would be scheduled? 2) IIRC, currently (please correct me if I'm wrong), Alice 1.4 currently employs a stop-the-world type garbage collector, rather than an incremental one. This severely limits applications. Are there any plans for an incremental garbage collector? 3) The last time I checked (a few months ago), some of the steps in the following tutorial Alice Manual - A Tour to Wonderland http://www.ps.uni-sb.de/alice/manual/tour.html were not up-to-date with the actual semantics of Alice 1.4, forcing me to post a question on this mailing list. Somebody then advised me to check the documentation for the actual functions if I ran into problems. Are there any plans for bringing the above-mentioned tutorial up-to-date with the actual semantics of Alice 1.4? Cheers, Benjamin L.
