The SM7 remains one of the vocal mics that everyone wants to get their hands
on.  But I have never seen it used to mic an acoustic instrument.

Ah the SM7B is Michael Jaxon's mike for the Thriller CD. It's also 1 of 
the only dynamics I've heard of that can capture up to 20 KHZ. Sounds cool.
