Yes All Olympus recorders have the 8th intch or AKA the 3.5 dyammiter
mini jack for mikes or line in and another for headphones. Now I don't
know about the new ones but the LS-14 did have 2 seperate ones. There
was `1 for the mike and another 1 for the line in.

The BookPort plus is so good at this, I can use it for mobility with
impressive accuracy, as good as anyone can hear with the same
up/down/front/back stereo field I hear with my ears.
