The information I have thus far is that if the Google Home Max is lying down in "Landscape" mode then the device is in stereo. If the Google Home Max is standing in "Portrait" mode then the device is in mono mode and can be paired to another Google Home Max device to create a stereo pair, if anyone can confirm this then it would be very much appreciated.
