It would seem that the mics are an accessory for the F8N and they're easily available, what fits the H6 will fit the F8N. I thought about selling my H6 but.. well.. with all the prices tumbling I may as well keep the H6 as a very good backup recorder, its easy to start the machine recording for example whereas the F8N could very well take a bit of setting up? We'll see. The recorder I will rid myself of is the Olympus LS-100. In theory the Olympus is a damn good recorder and that's the theory, its no good for outdoor work as wind gets into the recorder. Multi track recording is a bit of a problem, I've managed to get around this but it is a real pain in the bum when compared to the way the Zoom H6 does things.
